If you haven't decided what sport to officiate, or want to officiate a new sport, your first step would be to contact your local officials chapter. You can find that information by clicking HERE. |
After you have decided what sport to officiate, and have taken the appropriate exams to certify you in the association, you must send us an availability sheet and get yourself fingerprinted as per NYS Education Department Regulations. You must register online before you can get finger printed. The details are located in the following document: Click here for a link to the finger printing process.
Click here for the Finger Printing Certification Form. You must print this and bring it with you to BOCES for verification. Once it is signed, you must send it back to us immediately.
