From North

Take Route 9W South to exit for Stony Lonesome Gate (1st West Point exit). Follow Stony Lonesome Road all the way to the end (past Michie Stadium and the church). Take a left at the stop sign onto Washington Road. Pass the cemetary on your right and continue approximately 1 mile. Games are held in West Point Youth Center across from the Middle School on your left.

From West

From Route 32 and Route 17 take Route 6 (Exit 130A) South of Woodbury Commons at light off of Route 32. Follow Route 6 until it runs into Route 293 (bear left). Continue on 293 until you bear right onto Route 9W South. Take the first exit and enter the base through Stony Lonesome gate. Then follow the directions listed above.

Boys and Girls Track & Field -Invitational Only

Once you enter the base through Stony Lonesome Gate, follow Stony Lonesome Road to the end. Take a right at the stop sign onto Washington Road. Take your first right toward Eisenhower Hall. Bear right at the traffic beacon, and continue down the hill to Shea Stadium.

***Please be aware of security precautions at the academy. All coaches and bus drivers need Identification and a current roster of the athletes on their bus. (Call ahead to the Athletic Director at the West Point Middle School for additional information at 845-938-3550.)***       

 

WEST POINT MILITARY ACADEMY

For Hockey/Basketball Arena:

Route 17 East to Bear Mountain/West Point - Exit to Route 6 (130A). Take Route 6 until it runs into Route 293 (bear left) proceed for 11 miles. Right onto 9W South. Second Exit West Point-Highland Falls. 1-1/2 miles from exit enter Thayer Gate proceed to stop sign make left onto Mills Road. At Football Stadium make left to Hollender Center/Christl Arena.

For Indoor Track:

Route 17 East to Bear Mountain/West Point - Exit to Route 6 (130A). Take Route 6 until it runs into Route 293 (bear left) proceed for 11 miles. Right onto 9W South. First Exit West Point. Continue to Stony Lonesome Gate. Follow past Michie Stadium to stop sign. Take right at the stop sign and then first left. Bear right at the traffic beacon, take second right, just before Shea Stadium. Follow road to the back of Gillis Field House. Parking is available behind the field house and near Shea Stadium.

DO NOT PARK ALONG THE RIVER, YOUR VEHICLE WILL BE TICKETED/TOWED!
