- Girl's Lacrosse Officials needed. Training begins Thursday, February 21, 2008, 6pm. @ Valley Central High School. Class dates are: February 21, 26, 28, March 4, 6. Cost is $75.

- The Kingston baseball Umpires Association, Inc (KBUA, Inc.) will be holding a series of meetings and clinics for prospective high school and summer baseball umpires.
There will be an informational meeting to be held on Tues Feb 5 at Kingston HS, MJM annex rm. 802, Broadway Kingston, NY 12401 @ 7:00PM
The clinics will be held on Wednesdays, February 20th, 27th, March 5th, 12th & 26th from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Kingston HS MJM annex rm. 802, 403 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401 at 7:00 PM.
Please attend the informational meeting on Feb 5th for more detailed information. The contact is James Smith at JNS07@aol.com. The fee for the clinic is $40.00 (includes rule book) for the 5 session course.
- The Sullivan County Softball Officials organization is looking for umpires for the upcoming season. Anyone who is interested in officiating softball games for three levels of high school play and/or men’s and women’s summer recreation leagues should contact Mary Feusner at 292-2949. This organization is affiliated with the New York State Softball Officials and the New York State Amateur Softball Association. The meetings and clinics schedule for 2008 is as follows: Sundays: February 10 and 24, March 2, 9, 16, April 6 and 20, May 18. Meetings are held at the White Sulphur Springs Fire Department from 7:00 pm. until 8:30 pm.
- The Central Hudson Valley Board of Girls’ Softball Officials, Inc (CHVBGSO, Inc.) will be holding a series of meetings and clinics for prospective girl’s high school softball umpires.
The clinics will be held on Tuesdays, January 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th and February 5th, and 12th 2008 from 6:30 – 9:30 PM at Mechanicstown Elementary School, 435 East Main Street, Middletown, NY 10940.
